North Star Tuff Trailers are designed and built by people who depend on their trailers to make a living. At the Archibald Ranch, (Valley Grande Ranch and Feeders) located in Northwestern South Dakota. We had to design a trailer that would be multi-purpose to satisfy our needs. We needed not only a Live bottom silage trailer, but a Manure trailer, and a grain hopper. We looked at many trailers that are out in the marketplace, incorporated different ideas, and started building our own line of trailers as a joint venture with Pete Reis of Tuff-E Manufacturing.
This is the criteria which our trailer is built.
1. Must be able to provide years of trouble free operation hauling silage
2. Haul manure miles from our feedyard and stock pile it for spreading after the crop was harvested.
3. Able to use the trailers to haul small grains and grain corn during harvest. (Grain Kit)
4. Must be able to haul modified distillers.
5. Could haul dry fertilizer and seed to tend air seeders in the spring.
6. Simple design and ease of maintenance. (Parts available almost anywhere)
7. Fit and Finish (Paint that will Last)
We hope you enjoy our product.
